The SC1040L-LR01D linear resonant actuator produces a minimum vibration force of 1.5 Grms when driven with a 2.0 Vrms AC signal. An Haptics driver IC is normally used with this linear vibration motor. Due to this LRA's wide bandwidth , the use of LRA drivers that make use of "auto -resonance" detection will be problematic. The recommended Haptic Driver IC is made by Dongwoon Anatech Part # DW7914A. The rise time (50% power) is a blazing 10 ms, fall time (10% power) 50ms, making it an outstanding choices for haptic feedback applications. This Linear resonant actuator is designed to be mounted in a molded recessed pocket in the products housing. PCB mounted contact springs or pogo pings mate with coin LRA's contacts pads. This motors is currently only available in this configuration. Customizations will be considered if the project volume is in excess of 1 million / year. While it is not intended to be used as such, wires may be soldered to the coin motors contact pads.
